There has got to be more to this story!! Did she go to school that way? Are those your boots? Enquiring minds want to know!
She did not go to school that way.. whew.
She has a short day on Friday so we came home and she was playing when it was time to go back and pick up her sisters. After I picked up Haley and Ruby, Haley asked if we could run by the library and I said sure. As we were walking into the library I realized what Lucy was wearing and it was too late.
I think I am so used to seeing her in dress up clothes it just looks normal to me, until I see people giving me strange looks.
Your liberal dress code is one of the things I love most about your mothering. Heck, she was dressed more modestly than most, right?
My opinion is that there is a very small window of opportunity for one to dress however they want and have it be soially acceptable, I've been known to let Evie go to the store as Tinkerbelle. Let her creativity shine!
