How old are your Chins? We have to keep ours separate for about 4 more months. They are only 2.5 months old so we do not want any oopses before she is old enough. When they are together on the floor they are already starting to try the conga line, as Riley puts it. I also love your cage. Is it a chin cage, or a bird cage? The Chin ranch we got ours from make their own cages but they do not look that solid.
I have no idea how old they are, the owners told us they were ready for breading but I think they may have been a little young. Well see.
Our cage is actually a ferret cage- it's the Ferret nation habitat double level. We bought our locally (assembled) but they have the same case on cagesdirect.com for $164.45. I love the cage for tons of reasons but a huge one is you can close the door between the top and the bottom, making it two separate cages.
My daughter is BEGGING for a little critter. I am VERY INTERESTED in finding out more about Chincillas. What a huge PLUS that they don't smell! If we choose to bit the bullet for her birthday in June I'll call you!!

I think I have read that 1 + 1 = 35. How about you?
